Green Beans Recipe

INGREDIENTS

400 grams green beans

1 large onion

2 medium tomato

Coriander leaves

1 Tbsp garlic paste

1 Tbsp ginger paste

1/2 Tbsp cumin seeds

1 Tbsp garam masala powder

1/2 Tbsp turmeric powder

1/2 Tbsp red chilli powder

1/2 Tbsp coriander powder

1/2 Tbsp cumin powder

1 Tbsp mustard oil

Salt

DIRECTIONS

(1) First, washed and chopped the green beans into small pieces.

(2) Chopped the onion, tomato and coriander leaves.

(3) In a frying pan, add 1 Tbsp mustard oil and heat it.

(4) Now, add 1/2 Tbsp cumin seeds and cook it for few seconds on medium flame. add chopped onions and fry until it turns into golden brown.

(5) When the onions turns into golden brown, reduce the flame to low. add 1 Tbsp garlic paste, add 1 Tbsp ginger paste. Mix well. add 1/2 Tbsp turmeric powder, add 1/2 Tbsp red chilli powder, add 1/2 Tbsp cumin powder, add 1/2 Tbsp coriander powder. Mix well and cook it for a minute on low flame. add chopped green beans, add salt.

(6) Now, increase the flame to medium and Mix well.

(7) Cook it for 2 minutes on medium flame(Remember: Don't cover the frying pan).

(8) After 2 minutes, cover the frying pan and cook it for 8 minutes on low-medium flame. keep stirring in between.

(9) Now, add chopped tomato to the green beans. Mix well and cover the frying pan and cook it for 10 minutes on low-medium flame.

(10) After 10 minutes, open the lid and Stir well.

(11) Now, reduce the flame to low and add 1 Tbsp garam masala. Mix well.

(12) Cover the pan and cook it for 1 minute on low flame.

(13) After 1 minute, open the lid and Stir well.

(14) Add chopped coriander leaves. Mix well.

(15) Serve hot.
