Paneer Butter Masala Recipe

INGREDIENTS -

250 to 300 grams paneer

1 Tbsp oil

1 kg red tomatoes

2 bay leaf

3 kashmiri red chillies

2 stick cinnamon

3 green chillies

5 green cardamom

1 Tbsp chopped ginger

1/2 cup cashew nuts

1 cup water

5 Tbsp butter

1 Tbsp grated ginger paste

1 Tbsp kashmiri red chilli powder

Salt

620 grams cubed cottage cheese

1 Tbsp fenugreek powder

1 Tbsp garam masala

1 Tbsp sugar

1/2 cup cream

Coriander

DIRECTIONS

(1) In a hot frying pan, add 1 Tbsp oil.

(2) Chopped the tomatoes and add it to frying pan. add 2 bay leaf, 3 kashmiri red chillies, 3 green chillies, 5 green cardamom, 1 Tbsp chopped ginger, 1/2 cup cashew nuts, 1 cup water. Stir well.

(3) Now, cover the frying pan and cook it for 15 minutes(Remember: you have to stir it occasionally) 

(4) After 15 minutes, add the curry into a blender and grind it to a fine paste.

(5) Add 5 Tbsp butter, 1 Tbsp oil in a hot frying pan and stir until the butter melts. add 4 slit green chillies, 1 Tbsp grated ginger paste. Stir well.

(6) Add 1 Tbsp kashmiri red chilli powder in a frying pan. Stir well.

(7) Now, Add the gravy in a frying pan and let it cook for 5 minutes and Stir. add 2 Tbsp salt, 620 grams cubed cottage cheese. Stir well.

(8) Cover the gravy and cook for 7 minutes and stir occasionally.

(9) After 7 minutes, add 1 Tbsp fenugreek powder, 1 Tbsp garam masala, 1 Tbsp sugar. Stir well.

(10) Add 1/2 cup cream, add some freshly chopped coriander. Mix well.

(11) Serve hot.
