Chicken Manchurian Recipe


1 chicken breasts

1 Tbsp soy sauce

1 egg

Salt and pepper

3 Tbsp corn flour

1 cup water


1 Tbsp corn starch

1 Tbsp hoisin sauce

2 Tbsp ketchup

1 Tbsp chilli sauce

1 Tbsp minced garlic 

1 Tbsp minced ginger

1 onion

1 carrot

1 bell pepper


(1) Mix together the chicken, a Tbsp soy sauce, salt, pepper and a medium size egg.

(2) Add 3 Tbsp corn flour and Mix well.
        (Chicken should be well coated)

(3) Heat the oil and fry the chicken for seven-eight minutes until it turn into golden brown.

Pour 1 cup water in a bowl and add 1 Tbsp corn starch, 1 Tbsp soy sauce, 1 Tbsp hoisin sauce, 2 Tbsp ketchup, 1 Tbsp chilli sauce and Mix well.  

(5) Add 1 Tbsp of oil in a frying pan and heat it.

(6) Add 1 Tbsp minced garlic and saute for 30 seconds.

(7) Add 1 Tbsp minced ginger and saute for 1 minute.

(8) Add 1/2 cup diced onion and saute for 2 minute.

(9) Add 1/2 cup diced carrots and saute for 2 minute.

(10) Add 1/2 cup diced bell pepper and saute for 3 minute(Till soft).

(11) Add the prepared sauce mixture and Add 1 cup water and boil it for 2 minutes.

(12) Stir and cook for 5 minutes.

(13) Add chicken and stir for 2 minutes(Cook longer for less gravy)

(14) Serve hot.
